SWEMBA is now recruiting umpires for the season
BECOME A YOUTH BASEBALL UMPIRE - YOU CAN DO IT! READ ON!
This rewarding opportunity is open to all ages (the minimum age to be an umpire is 12 years of age). We welcome men, women, girls and boys, as well as retirees, veterans, homemakers, students (junior/senior high, college, university), athletes and anyone, is who is interested in the value of community building.
We are also extending a special ‘shout-out’ to parents - becoming an umpire is a great way to be involved with your kids and your community.
This is a wonderful opportunity for people who are interested in making a difference in young lives, contributing to community recreational sports generally, and minor baseball specifically. Finally, it is a wonderful way to get physically active, participate, set a good example, and be a great role model.
