House League is open to players of all skill levels. It is a recreational league focused on development. There is no tiering in House baseball, players are assessed in April to create equally skilled teams for greater development and competition during gameplay. Games and practice are during the week. The season ends in June.

Exceptions for House:

-There is a competitive 9U Elite team that plays in the 11u House division.

-11U/13U Tier 1 (YEGA) teams are selected during House assessments. These teams play against other associations during the season in the YEGA league. In July, these teams can combine and players have an opportunity to play in the A-level provincials.

AA Rep baseball is a competitive league with varying competitive tiers and a higher commitment.

  • Games are played on the weekends and can include traveling around Alberta. The season ends around the August long weekend.
  • Tryouts are required to be selected for a AA team.
  • If able, SWEMBA offers a higher-tiered team (Sox Black) and a lower-tiered team (Sox Grey).
  • Players not selected for a AA team will be moved to the House league and will have to attend House Assessments.
