Our 13U, 15U, and 18U AAA programs are operated by the SEEBA Edmonton Expos. Tryouts for AAA begin in Feb.

We offer one or two AA teams at 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U. The Black team usually competes in Division 1 and the Grey team in Division 2.
To make one of these competitive teams, your player must attend tryouts in March 2024 - MARCH 8, 9, 15 and 16.
Players are moved through stations to assess the five tools of baseball. Throwing velocity, throwing accuracy, catching ability, hitting, running speed, and coachability are evaluated. More details to come on specific drills and stations and criteria.
SWEMBA uses a combination of outside, independent evaluators and members with players not in that age category to assess the players.
The Team Selection Committee is composed of the Technical Director, Competitive Director, Division Director, Coaching Director and other qualified evaluators.
Team Selection for a AA team is based on the level of ability demonstrated at tryouts. At the AA level, a friend request does not contribute or impact your team placement. A player will be offered a spot in either the Black or Grey team. If they a player elects not to take his/her spot on the Black team, they cannot elect to be moved to the Grey team. If a player does not take their offered spot, they will be moved to house/tier 1 league and must attend house evaluations in April.
