Game & Practice Days: Tuesday and Thursday

This is a developmental and recreational league for players and coaches (with some umpiring), where having fun, as well as the development of individual player skills and team skills, are a priority to ensure everyone involved enjoys their baseball experience. Teams consist of 10-11 players and play other SWEMBA 9U teams. The SOX Board is committed to the Long Term Athletic Development model and we believe this schedule helps to develop lifelong athletic skills that will continue to benefit our children beyond their baseball years.

Players will be on the field twice a week, generally with one practice day and one game day.  The outdoor season begins the first week of May weather permitting and goes up to the end of June. The season is completed before the end of the school year.

• Additional (optional) player development sessions may be offered throughout the season

9U Elite -  This option is for 9U-age players, with higher-than-average abilities, looking for a higher level of play.

The players selected will play 'up' in the 11U House League.

Tryouts for the 9U elite team occur during the house assessment. If selected additional fees will be required. 

If you are interested in this team, please select the 9U elite option in registration. You will attend house evaluations and the team will be selected from those interested.
